As those of you who have followed my blog have noticed, the blog is looking for its line. Old texts have been removed and a few unexpectedly reappeared after a break.
Autumn has been heavy, which is why the blog also started to falter for a while. Now a new beginning!
Sometimes I remember a little wistfully how, when I was younger, I thought that if life kicked me hard and I lost a family member, I would do "Under the Tuscan sun" and start a new life under the Provence sun. I thought I'd move to, say, St. Paul de Vence and put on a painter's hat, sell "art" and live upstairs in my gallery. Then there I paint and live on the small income from paintings. Oh that.
A couple of days ago, an announcement about a beautiful small commercial apartment in the alleys of the sweet old village of Valbonne caught my eye.
My imagination really took off and I saw myself there as a shopkeeper! The village is already familiar to me. Oh, both in the summer and during the Christmas market, how I would rub shoulders there. That's just the way it would be and live. Nothing but that little life and the beloved church. That's it.
But nothing came of it. The man is busy. I understand that, breaking away comes with risks. Mostly financial. But when those dreams!
I'm still wondering for a while here, how the hell I could conjure up the missing pieces so that I could buy that little shop...ha ha. Ideas are welcome!
Maybe this daydreaming serves something essential right now. Besides, if you don't dream, it's hard to recognize opportunities, if they ever happen!
Hugs to everyone, dear friends <3 Dreaming is free and you can do it anywhere :)
With heat,
